Dr Leah Dwyer – Osteopath

Leah trained at Southern Cross University for 5 years. Completing her Bachelors degree in 2011, she then went on to complete her Masters degree in 2013, majoring in Osteopathic Medicine and human structure and function.

In her final year, Leah researched therapeutic effect and its overall contribution in osteopathic treatment, and found this mechanism to be highly significant when treating each patient individually. Having completed her research, she still continues to observe these underlying effects throughout each and every treatment, and continues to build upon these skills on a daily basis.

Leah has a keen interest in treating paediatrics, women enduring the changes that take place during/after pregnancy and child birth, as well as womens health in general, sporting injuries, the effects of aging and acute and chronic pain cases.
Leah always had a dream of opening her own business, and once her Masters degree was complete, she went on to do just that. Leah opened the doors for business in early 2014, and has since built her patient base, above and beyond expectations. Leah prides herself on her ability to provide the Northern Rivers region with optimal osteopathic health care, a high level of professionalism, honesty, and the unique ability to show empathy and understanding towards each individual and their pain.
